Lower the cost to replace a lost ID
Right now if you misplace your ID or it get's lost you have no choice but to pay $25. This price is unnecessary and unsafe. The average parking violation costs a student less than if their ID falls out of their pocket. As the pieces of plastic that the IDs are made from cost the university less than $5 each it seems unethical to charge more than $5 to get a card replaced.
I wouldn't mind so much if the persona system wasn't constantly down. I waited an hour today for a new I.D., paid $25, and still had to use a lock-out code because persona was down.....if we're paying that much, shouldn't the card at least work?
I think the price is supposed to be punitive
